| Description: |
This workshop encourages family units to attend together to discuss family oriented spiritual practice. Families and all their children are invited to attend. The children and adults will work together and utilize Temperance to establish deep, meaningful and spiritually centered relationships. In Part I, the groundwork for establishing your own Family Coven will be laid. Part I is a Pre-Requisite to Part II. Parents are responsible for their children's behavior. In Part II Families will share with one another the ideas they have had and will devote themselves to the idea of family coven in sacred ritual. Some members of the family must attend Part I in order to participate in Part II. All family coveners will be actively involved in this part. Presenter's Note: In my experience children over the age of four respond the best to this workshop; however, we have had infants participate, teaching parents to use their psychic connection to elicited the infant's input. The challenge is to present a workshop that is inclusive without having the youngest participants be disruptive. Parent Partners may choose to take turns attending and sharing the ideas they learn in the two classes. Mother Priestesses and Father Priests are responsible for all their children's behavior and if a toddler or child needs to leave, it is the parent partners who are going to be held responsible. |

| Description: |
This ritual was originally designed for Lydia Crabtree’s Goddess Daughters and her son. It uses the five sensations to demonstrate proper circle casting, quarter calling and the evoking of the God & Goddess. It is based upon tactile learning techniques Lydia learned during her years in the elementary school system. Bring your sweet tooth, your sense of adventure and your willingness to participate in an active way to this one of a kind ritual. Children under 5 must be accompanied by an adult or teen. |

Family Coven? A Coven that acts like a family or a Family that is a Coven? The idea of Family Spirituality is relatively new within the craft, despite the folk stories we have heard about "hereditary witches." The fact is, the real hereditary witches are being raised today by pagan parents. Family Coven: An Introduction, explores the definition of Family Coven, Mother Priestess and Father Priest. It lays the foundation for a journey into spirituality that will change your Family Coven forever. If your family is ready for a life altering view of the Craft, Family Coven is the place to start. If you are on old hat in the Craft and are ready to hear about the future, Family Coven is a term you want to know about. Join Lydia M. Crabtree, co-founder of Family Wiccan Traditions International for an enlightening discussion about the past, present and future of Wicca. |
